San Fransisco Part 2

Well, I have arrived again to San Jose after a smooth flight in which the seat-belt signs only came on for a couple of bits of minor turbulance, and the food was edible, and the flight some-how managed to pass without me picking up the magazine I brought to read. I think I spent half the flight trying to send a text message from the exciting aeroplane SMS service, which failed to get through (after a message saying "message aborted" and another one saying "message successfully sent") - and the other half of the time was waiting for the system to reboot after it kept freezing.

I've picked up a car from the airport and it's an elantra. It drives ok, and so far, on the correct side of the road. As it's 8pm now here (so 4am at home) I think it's nearly time for some sleep. Night night.

Good to see you're blogging again Mr Brown! Hope you have a good trip this time around, must be nice and toasty there in July compared with January. Say "hi" to all the guys from me too.

Thanks Graham. It's nice and sunny, but surprisingly cool... it's been about 17 degrees C for the last few days. Meena asked how you were whilst we were getting the popcorn today, so I will return your greetings to her and Janet - and Chris when he returns from his travels next week.

PS > Missing your navigation skills in the car - though surprisingly I've not had to turn the car round so far :-)

That does sound surprisingly cool given how far south you are and the fact it's summer now! Don't forget Nick's still knocking around over there somewhere if you want a friendly British face or someone to go out with.

Navigation is definitely much easier with another person in the car, particularly in the US where it's harder to stop to read a map.

Haha, sounds like you forgot to take some ear plugs for the airport lifts, rotfl!!!
